HOW TO WIN BCB this year… (as a brand) – BE BRAVE – BE QUICK

We all know – BCB has grown from a nice and small “family” event to maybe one if the most important global Industry events, toke over 2 year ago by one of the worlds biggest trade show operators Reed Exhibitions (operated by the german daughter Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH )

The oxygen of trade shows is the on-trade money spend by brands. And for sure, lets face it, sometimes more, sometimes less, it is also often a brand battle. (at least for the marketing departments)

Who is getting the most attention (in a perfect world for a low budget) – which brands can use this event to “win” the sympathy of bartenders and owners deciding which brand is cool for pouring…

The tuesday f.e. night has become the night to burn your marketing money while BCB. Which brands is doing the greatest party – which one all bartenders will talk about hangover on wednesday morning…

The big players easily spend five, sometimes six digits on this party, surrounded by many many other parties…

A kind of bullshit marketing game…

This year it looks like that thousands of bartenders will not get a ticket for the Trade Show any more. But many already booked flights and hotel, took days off and want some entertaining days…

So, if you want to win BCB as a brand viral on a kind of low budget this year – I guess if you set up nice day events and also masterclasses extra outside the BCB for the “I cannot get a ticket anymore” bartenders I have the feeling you will win very loyal bartenders kind of easy… #DayDrinking in Berlin !
